Did Havah make the RIGHT decision for humanity?

Published on 17 May 2021 at 09:19

Todays blog post has to do with Havahs

decision for humanity.

Have you ever read your bible one statement at a time? I mean really kicked back and analized what was being said? Most people just skim over the text because they want to get to "the good parts". I dont operate that way. Todays blog and video i have posted discusses havahs delima.

God tells Adam and Eve that if they eat from the tree of knowledge of good and evil  they will surley die. Its very interesting to me that eve decides to eat the fruit not understanding the consequences untill after she is found guilty. After the punishments are given to adam and eve and the snake, God speaks to the angels and has a charibim guard the garden with a flaming sword. God says " behold man has become like the unique one among us, knowing good and bad; and now lest he put forth his hand and take also of the tree of life and eat and live forever."

Havah had to make a decision after hearing what the snake had told her. Does she eat the fruit and become knowledgeable of good and evil like God and the angels or stay ignorant? The other part that we dont read is what if havah wanted to eat of the tree of life next? She could have thought of that idea in which case she could have been on the same level as God and the Angels. But God is smart. He knew she may decide eat of the tree of life.

Man is not able to become like God because he doesnt want us to be like him. If havah would have ate from the tree of life first we could have lived forever, but God would have closed us off from the tree of knowledge of good and evil in that situation.

Havah had to make the decision to be

immortal and amoral or mortal and moral

It is in my oppinion that she made the right decision because who would want to live forever and not know what is right and wrong? If we could only choose one option id say she did all of us a favor. Even though she got punished her punishment was a blessing for all of humanity.
