According to the Works of Josephus
in Chapter 12:211
And in Chapter 6:151
We read that Abram married a woman named Sarah also known as Ishka. Ishka we find out is one of three children whose father is Haran. Her two siblings were Lot and Milka. Milka married her fathers Brother named Nahor. Haran also had another brother and that was Abram. Abram married his neice Ishka aka Sarah.
Its funny because you only see Ishka being Sarah In Josephus....or do you? If you have ever read more of jewish texts you find out that it is a common tradition that Ishka is in fact Sarah. But heres the thinh, why doesnt any other text clairify that as Josephus did?
The Jews use the Masoretic text now a days, but if you read that text along with the Samaritan text and the Septuagint. You find that the the three of them all agree with a different understanding. Sarah is NOT Ishka . in fact in Genesis chapter 20:12 you find out that Sarah and Abraham have the same father but a different mother. Sarah is a half sister to Abraham.
So, tell me down in the comments what it is that you believe. Which account is accurate. And why?
