These 4 Books are some of my collection of variants of Torah. In this picture I have shown above I have The Tanach in the Hebrew language called the Masoretic Text. Then next to that I have the Septuagint with Apocrypha, Josephus is beside that and lastly shown is the Forgotten Books of Eden. there are more books out there such as the Samaritan text and the Quran.
There are many differences between the Texts and that's what makes collecting the texts so admirable because you learn sooo much more than what you would if you stuck with just one version ( IE the Masoretic text).. I also have the Book of Jubilees and the Book of Enoch and lastly the Book of Jasher which have odd differences. the main difference that is obvious is the Timeline. That is why I created my Posters so you also can enjoy studying the variants.
Be sure to visit my YouTube page to get more videos related to the topics because soon I will have more things to talk about because of my newest addition to come will be the Samaritan text.
The Samaritan text is a Hebrew text and so is the Masoretic text. The other two books in the picture are Josephus and the Septuagint which are both Greek texts. What Fascinates me the most is that there is a type of Biblical Study called Textual Criticism. I first heard of that type of study with the New Testament and I thought it would be cool to study the Torah and see its variants. It shouldn't surprise you but there are many many variants . So much so that it changes the story. There are even differences in the Muslim text called the Quran. You will see me talk about the Quran in my videos as well. So, if you like what you see so far. Please like and subscribe to the channel to build your knowledge of the differences so you can share with you friends. Maybe they will like and subscribe also. And you can also fill me in with information because I'm constantly learning as well. if you are a PASTOR an IMAM or a RABBI please consider purchasing my Book and my Posters for you Place of Worship and its classrooms.
