WHAT IS ON MY MIND THIS WEEK               

                     Today I wanted to share with you my Prototype Electric Dulcimer. This Dulcimer sounds very cool when I attach a Piezo Pickup to it. My Plan is to perfect the design. This was all done by scratch. I purchased a Plunge Router just the other day and plan to work on a cut called a Mortis Cut.  that Cut is basically a Cavity in the wood. if you look at the pictures you can see where the tuners are. that cavity is called a Mortis, when done the proper way. i used my laser engraver for the pictures of the Lizards and each lizard was about 15 minutes to burn out. I also found out that, if I wanted the lazar to make the cut look 3D, I needed to place it closer to the material.

Today's Blog post I want to talk to you about what my plans are, going forward.  The music Business is a fun business to be in. I never thought I would be here today sharing with you, my plans. Growing up i didn't have a clue in the world what it was that I wanted to do with my life. I loved Psychology as a High School/ College Student and Band had always been a part of my life. I found out that psychology also requires listening to people's problems or, so it was I thought. It turned out that I liked Consumer Psychology so much more. about 10 years ago I created a Wheel. THats right, I re-Invented the Wheel (The Music Wheel) if you look on (MY PRODUCTS PAGE) you will see all of my products that I have created. The Music Wheel i call the MODULAR SCALE WHEEL. it is actually a Tool that can help you create scales in music. there are 7 different modes, and 12 different notes and therefore you get 84 different scales in total. ANYWAYS if you want to learn more about that wheel i will absolutely share that with you on my YouTube videos.

Hey friends, this is Matthew with Koch Vending and I just wanted to share with you my excitement for in the months to come. I plan on making videos and written blogs like this to help you learn how to play you musical instruments. My plan is to go through an instrument per week or month and really try to delve deep into how it works.  One week/or month I'll show you the mandolin for example and how its chords operate, I'll attempt to show you the violin because it's tuned the same. Then maybe show you hammer dulcimer and trumpet. You never know there may be a lesson in nose flutes Haha. Or kazoos. Anyways, I just wanted to make a short and sweet little blog.
